Believe for the More

No matter what storm we are facing, we can rest knowing that Jesus knows where we are and our condition. He knows our needs and as long as we stay faithful to Him, He will surely come through for us.

Miracles can only happen when we choose to believe for more. This is the season to believe for the more.

I left my full-time job to establish Living Revelations Ministries. There have been moments of fear and discouragement, but I continue to speak God’s promises over my life. My goal now is to raise monthly partners for the ministry and I just received my first monthly partner. I choose to move forward and believe for the more knowing that God is behind this all that and through this walk of faith, He will be glorified.

It’s only when we choose to believe in the more that we will see His miraculous hand move upon our lives. We are called to live by faith, not by sight (2 Cor. 5:9). This means there will be seasons where He will call us to do something that seems impossible to the naked eye, but possible to a mighty God.

We can rest knowing that Jesus sees us in every condition we are in. He sees us through the good and bad and will always come through faithfully at the right time.

In Matthew 14, we see Jesus sending the disciples on the boat ahead of Him. Matthew 14:24 says, “and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.”

The word “buffeted” means to strike repeatedly. Jesus saw that the disciples were troubled so He walks on water and goes to the disciples saying, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid” (Matthew 14:27). Even though Jesus wasn’t physically with the disciples, He knew where they were and their condition.

No matter what storm we are facing, we can rest knowing that Jesus knows where we are and our condition. He knows our needs and as long as we stay faithful to Him, He will surely come through for us.

Just as Jesus told the disciples to not be afraid, He also tells us to not be afraid by what our circumstances may look like. This is the time to take courage and have faith in where God is leading you to.

In Matthew 14 we see Peter having such faith in Jesus that he tells Jesus, “if it is you tell me to come out to the water.” He had such faith to believe that with Jesus, he could walk on water in the midst of the storm.

Peter was able to have this faith because he was in a similar situation in Matthew 8 where he saw Jesus calm the storm. All who were in the boat said “even the winds and the waves obey him” (Matt 8:27). Just like Peter, we too can look back at what He has done in the past to remind ourselves in this season that He is sovereign.

What do you need to believe in more today? Let us all have such faith to say that even the winds and waves obey Jesus, what do we have to fear? No matter what season we are in, we can always believe for more. This is the year where God wants to show himself as the Great I am over your life.
