Frank Tomberlin, retired from Honeywell several years ago and now serves as The Gathering’s Board Chairman. He and his wife Gina love bringing their children and grandchildren to Disney and interacting with Cast Members. Frank also enjoys teaching Life Lesson Classes using biblical principles with men currently seeking shelter and help at the Atlanta Mission where he also serves on the Presidents Council. Frank combines his business expertise and passion to serve as a true servant leader at The Gathering.
Sammy Pawlak is a husband and father, a professional musician, and the founding pastor of God’s House Orlando, a creative church in a creative city loving people to Christ. With nearly thirty years of experience working in the entertainment industry of Central Florida, he shares the vision of The Gathering for reaching those who diligently serve in the theme parks.
Robert is the Executive Pastor of The Church of Southlake in Clermont Florida. He has held executive roles in ministry at both New Beginnings of Central Florida and Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL. Robert and his wife Faith have two adult children at UCF who love to spend time at the Disney parks as a family.
Kerry Tygrett is the Executive Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Ocala, FL. He and his wife Martha have 4 adult children & 4 grandchildren. They have a passion to share Love On Stage with each Disney Cast Member they meet while trading Disney Pins & collecting Disney Popcorn Buckets. Kerry and Martha have a relentless passion to share the love of Jesus through purposeful acts of kindness.
Sandy is a vocal, drama and piano instructor in the Atlanta area. She has been a performer and pastor’s wife for 30+ years. Sandy loves serving in ministry and creating magical experiences for her children and grandchildren. Sandy combines her love of Jesus and her love of people through her commitment to Love on Stage bringing smiles of joy to everyone she meets. You will never forget the day you meet Sandy Wise.
Joe Bennett has been a bi-vocational pastor for over 30 years serving and ministering on four continents. He is the Founder of Kingdom Life Ministries and has developed ministry networks in both the Mid-West and Southern United States. With a passion for sharing the Gospel and building ministries that serve the Kingdom, Joe and his wife Melody serve with a profound love for people.
Heather is the proud wife of John Orr and mother of Jack Orr, the unofficial Mayor of WDW. Heather has served local church ministries for over 20 years both as a volunteer and as a staff member. Her favorite thing about Love on Stage is that is combines her lifelong love of Disney with her passion for ministry.
As followers of Jesus, we believe that every person deserves to be seen. Every one of the 100,000+ Orlando theme park employees has been created with a purpose and for a purpose. God loves them. But, many struggle with living far from home, working off-hour shifts, and feel stuck in their lives.
